Nighttime Body Butter
If you usually use body butter right before you hit the bed, you’ve got to try this one! After all, you can’t go wrong with the calming and soothing effects of lavender oil, right?
For this, you’ll need to combine some almond oil, lavender oil and argan oil in a small cup, and in a large bowl, mix equal amounts of shea butter and cocoa butter.
Next, you’ll need to combine both of these and mix them using an electric whisk for a couple of minutes. Then, pop it in the freezer for 10 minutes, get it out and whisk it again for a minute or two. Easy peasy!

If you’re one of those who have extremely dry skin, and need a little extra nourishment, this one’s going to be the perfect body butter for you! It provides all that extra TLC for your skin, and smells great too!
To make this, you’ll need to combine cocoa butter, shea butter, jojoba oil and coconut oil in a double boiler until you obtain a uniform mixture, and then cool it down in the fridge until it just starts to harden but is still soft. Then, using a hand mixer, beat the mixture while adding in a few drops of your favourite essential oil until it turns fluffy. That’s it!
Energizing Lemon Body Butter
Nothing can wake you up like some citrusy notes, and this invigorating and energizing lemon body butter does just that.
You’ll need to make this in pretty much the same way- combine cocoa butter and shea butter in a double boiler until they’re both completely melted, and then mix them together to form a uniform mixture. Then add in a few drops of lemon essential oil, some lemon zest and a couple of teaspoons of almond oil. Cool this mixture in the refrigerator for half an hour, remove and whisk using a hand whisk or a stick blender.
Refreshing Peppermint Body Butter
Looking for a refreshing body butter to treat your skin to as you begin your day? This is the one! Enriched with peppermint essential oil and tons of skin-nourishing oils, it is another winner!
Start by melting and combining coconut oil and almond oil with shea butter in a double boiler and then cool it down to room temperature.
