If they are an aspiring footballer would they like a tour of their favourite team’s stadium? Other sports often do this kind of thing too. We went on a Wembley Tour and loved it. Helping them to imagine their dreams as a professional in this way may be the gift they would love? These are often easily bought online too!

Maybe they are actually sick of you always buying them cricket items just because they like a game of cricket and they would prefer a games console or a DVD? You know your recipient best so maybe this is worth a thought?
